John Lupien possesses over 30 years of experience in hemp related research, businesses, and technology development. He drives innovation at BDSI, LLC, with an unparalleled knowledge pertaining to supply chains, processing technologies, material properties, and product development. His achievements include several processing patents; the production of the first ever US grown and processed hemp-cotton blend yarn at commercial scale; and the design and installation of several high-throughput decortication facilities. He is currently working on product development involving regenerated cellulosic fiber, rare earth element absorbents, and a novel clean production platform to convert hemp hurd into cellulose and lignin.
